KidsHealth Pediatrics was founded in September 2007. The founding vision was to move away from the high-volume, multi-provider model and create a small-practice setting focused on high-quality, personalized pediatric care where continuity and accountability could thrive.
Our mission is to serve as a constant, reliable presence in a child’s life from birth through young adulthood, fostering long-term health and development through meaningful, multigenerational relationships.
At KidsHealth, we believe in a long-term perspective. We prioritize active listening and individualized attention, recognizing that the best medical guidance comes from truly understanding the unique concerns of both the patient and the parent.
Our specialized support for new parents sets us apart. We recognize the steep learning curve of newborn care and provide intentionally unhurried visits focused on education, teaching, and reassurance to build parental confidence.
Unlike high-volume clinics, we emphasize continuity and time. We ensure that families aren’t just another appointment on a schedule; we offer a focused environment where patients see the same provider, allowing for a deeper level of trust and transparency.
Every parent should know that our care is rooted in honesty and transparency. We will always be frank with you regarding diagnoses and treatment options so that you can make informed decisions with total confidence.
Our greatest success is the loyalty and trust of our families, evidenced by the significant distances they travel, from as far as Flagstaff or via Uber from across the Valley, to maintain continuity of care with us.
Personalized. Attentive. Trusted.
Trust is built through consistency and clear communication. By maintaining a small-practice feel and providing unhurried visits, they create a space where families feel heard, valued, and well-prepared.
As a parent of four sons, Dr. Nabong has personally navigated the journey of raising children. This lived experience, combined with a family life immersed in medicine, allows her to approach her patients with both professional expertise and parental empathy.
Dr Nabong was inspired by growing up among family members who were physicians and seeing the profound impact they had on their communities.
Today, she is motivated by the deep fulfillment of witnessing her patients grow from infants into healthy young adults.
● American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
Dr. Nabong is a board-certified Pediatrician, reflecting a rigorous commitment to evidence-based medicine and the highest standards of pediatric care.
For Dr. Nabong, the calling to become a doctor came early in her life, shaped by her upbringing in a medical family.
Beyond her own upbringing in a family with a multigenerational dedication to service, this path is shared by her husband (an oncologist) and three of our four sons, who have also pursued careers in medicine.
